Training Notes: | Felt 4/10. Legs/knees pain 2/10. Back @ 100%. Started on Goblet squats to warm up as well as promote technique/flexibility. Did a lot of sets with the bar, 40 and 60 trying to improve technique/flexibility. Have started to look up while I squat as Coach Broz recommends (the body follows the head). This plus focusing on sitting back seem to improved my depth a little. When I am really trying for depth I think I can just get past parellel. With my better (??) technique my knee joints do not seem to stiffen up as much during the session. Given time constraints (last day of having to come earlier to work for a while) I supersetted all the bench sets with the double/maxes/triples on the squat. Not ideal but otherwise would not have been able to do the bench which i have had 2 days off. Iced my knees when I came to work. They are definetly not as painful/stiff as early this week when i think I aggravated them from doing flexibility exercises wrong. But still a little stiffness. | ||||||
